I've been using a Carvin DCM1500 amp, which you can check out at the following link:http://www.carvin.com/products/dcmseries.php
I've had it for two years and I use it primarily for bass amplification, driven by an Eden WP100 preamp, but have on a number of occasions used it drive a small PA on one channel, using an Alesis 12 channel rack mixer, and bass on the other. Its very clean and neutral sounding. Its power rating is in RMS, 20Hz to 20KHz and will drive 2 ohm loads on each channel and will do 4 ohms in bridged mode for 1500 watts RMS. I'm seriouly considering getting a DCM power amp for my hifi system when I rebuild it in the near future. Give Carvin DCM amps a check.
