We're outfitting an existing gymnasium with acoustical treatments and audio/video/lighting to turn it into a worship center. We have a blank canvas but a severe cap on how much we can spend since we're still in debt for the building. The consultants are asking questions we're not yet prepared to answer, and I don't know if anyone even knows the answers to. Our main concern is to get acoustical treatments done, but before they will refer us to their acoustician they want us to decide basically everything. So now I'm attempting the design on my own, strictly from an equipment standpoint, not speaker placement or selection. That I will leave to the audio engineer. Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcomed.
