Your budget would be close to the average for an old Luxman, probably have to bump up by $50 or so. Check out some of the old 270's, 272's, I'm sure there are a few audiophiles here who could comment on these great tables and some of the other cool models. OR, from experience, I have an old Kenwood KD 500, Direct Drive, bullet proof, exacting, sonic, had it for 20 years and serviced once. Solid and easy to use. If you HAVE to have a newer "DJ" table, I hear Vestax is very good.
