TASCADV-RA1000HD problem

Pro studio recording equipment and music production/industry.

As drive was filling up, moved the files from its hard drive through my computer to an external drive. The computer shows the TASCAM's drive to be empty and the TASCAM shows no music files on its drive, but it keeps insisting that gthe drive is full and caznnot store any more files.
What to do?
