i currently use an older onkyo home preamp to 'drive' my mackie active studio monitors. i understand that the onkyo has a high output impedence, although i am not sure what it is. i am looking to upgrade the onkyo to an n.a.d. preamp w a 75 ohm output impedence. with the different levels of pro and consumer gear, would the 75 ohms be o.k. to drive the mackie's? the onkyo works fine in that regard. i will be using rca's to connect between the pre and the mackie's. thanks for the help.
