Actually, it's not racist. It's a satirical poke of fun at the way many Asians speak English. I remember going into an L.A. restaurant at about midnight, after 10 hours of driving to an AES convention. You can imagine I was pretty punchy. I ordered vegetable soup and a side of fried rice. The waitress repeated my order as "wedgetable soup" and "flied lice". I darn fell off my chair laughing!(No doubt the French laugh at my attempts at their language as well.)
It isn't racist, it's just real life. Lighten up.
