hmmmm community project, no money, volunteer project etc, famious theater.
Well why dont you contact on of the companys that do this type work professionaly. If you go for the big boyz they usually have some spare cash allocated budgets etc to charity sponsorship in exchange for free publicity etc. Harman Kardon comes to mind or even Lucas films they own the THX spec.
They could provide the kit or some of it and the consultancy to prevent the enormouse cockup that might occur as no one on the teams' very done it before. With the commuinty providing the workmanship to transform it.Good luck BTW.
Sound like a good marketing opportunity (and tax write-off)for them and others manufacturers and suppliers.
