input sensitivity for Mackie 1530 active speakers?

I'm building a balanced-out preamp to drive the 1530's (see link). Maximum gain could be from 0dB to 10dB, using from a 76 to a 6N1P and a 10:1+1 stepdown. Any hints from Mackie users, as to how many vrms in, for maximum power out? Thanks a lot... --keto
