Thanks a lot for your ideas!

Now I'm thinking rods in the corners of the boxes instead, and one of those jacks at the bottom. No relying on the ceiling.

I'm guessing there could also be some advantages to being able to change the distance between the boxes, because of room modes.

To begin with I'll have only 2 boxes per channel.
If I ever collect 4 per channel, floor to ceiling (6.5') will be covered without any distance between the boxes.
