Do you really want to do this? The TL072 is not a bad device. It has 13Vus slew rate, JFET input, 80db CMR. Basically, its a good chip. You would probably get more sonic value by replacing capacitors. If the console uses electrolytic type coupling caps, replacing them with film types would probably be worthwhile. Changing opamps may open a rather nasty can of worms, and would probably have little or no sonic benifits.
