Hi Mahc'l,
Thank you for your input on this 'Mad' project. Yes I've looked at the Tascam machines, very nice, also still very pricey.The main objective here is to archive to 'Non-Contact' optical disc, with out using the PCM format if possiable. The newer DDR type recorders look very interesting, I'm still checking into their use for this project, may be too pricey al well though.
