Thanks for the tip, but I just don't understand much about these
programs. I am a amateur, and tried to understand the LAME software, (I didn't download it) but it is confusing for me. I did drop a email to the fellow on one of the websites for Lame. Also wonder if it is XP compatible. It is a nightmare if you have to download drivers etc.
That is my only gripe about XP. Again thank you for your advice.I am
not having any trouble with the Windows Media player on XP decoding. Maybe the sound isn't as good. I don't know. Carol
