The -10dBu signal can be fed into a +4dBu input, it will just require a little more gain on the front panel! If you are coming from an unbalanced signal you will need to connect the hot to pin 2 of the input XLR and the screen to pins 1 and 3.

As an alternative, there are boxes on the market (Canford Audio, Alice or Sonifex for example) that will boost and balance the signal, but they cost!
