I respectfully have a question with regards to the thread and the reply from harecording . the qsc rmx1450 is an a/b amp . the next size up rmx and above are all class h amps . Is it possible that the lesser powered and lesser priced 1450 might moderately compete with the next size or two up , at least as far as low end production is concerned ? And if even remotely so what about finding a resonably priced 1450 and running it 4 ohm stereo , 450 watts a side , mains on one channel subs on the other , with the idea of picking up another one when it could be afforded and bridging each one 4 ohms giving you 1450 watts to each pair of speakers respectively ? This is asked with a bit of a preference for qsc which of course im not implying that you have . Although ill admit the 450 watts stereo is not ideal , the price of the used plx or macro tech amp is a big jump . Im at a bit of a crossroads with my pa systems amplification as well .
