Tremolo issue......

Pro studio recording equipment and music production/industry.

My son's Marshall Bluesbreakers 1962 re-issue guitar amp has a problem with its tremolo option. We follow its manual on how to use the tremolo but to no avail. Can anybody tell me what going on here?
