If you can pass on the XLS and get something else that is Class A/B, you would be happier. Those amps use the EXACT same PC boards as some Behringers and QSC RMXs. Those high-speed switching amps really need perfectly clean and regulated power to get full power out of them. They don't sound great on the bottom end either. They cannot recover fast enough for 1/8 note, 1/16 note, etc kicks. I have done some of those in a pinch for a cheap install and none of us were happy. If you can buy a used MacroTech, you would have something nice and beefy. If you can buy the newer Peavey CS line, which is basically a Crest design, you will come out ahead.
