RE: Cannon speaker connector questions...

By Cannons, you mean XLRs? Speakons are the best way to go. You get more contact surface area. Manufacturers used to use 4 pin XLRs, but the contact area was too small, and did not allow for large awg wire. TSs had the same problem. That is a good reason why SpeakOns have been so accepted. Plus they are locking, water proof, etc.

You won't find new "Cannons". Switchcraft, Neutrik and other make the XLRs. They are in the low voltage connector range.
