You can use something like a DBX driverack and that would
give you parametric/EQ/compression/dynamic feedback suppression/signal delay etc

You dont need a DAC

It does the translation from analog to digital and back to analog for you
If you had to purchase all the units seperate is would get costly

I believe Berhinger makes a unit like above but in the sub 500.00 range
