Funny you mention that.....

I've used the next step up in that line of mixers for recording purposed. Had to have something quick for a live performance to bring in a number of drum mics into a 4-channel audio interface.

I was surprised at the clarity of the thing. I was expecting a pretty rolled off/miserable/muddy signal out of it but that wasn't the case.

While I'd not use one full-time, for the price it did the job ok. I passed it on to another musician to get my $$ back out of it. He's happy, as I am.
