Has noboddy here used Edirol MA-15D or M-Audio DX4 monitors ?

if so what is your opinion of each v.s.v distortion coloration clarity imaging etc.
I lack any experiance of the moden active nearfields, the last one i used were passive BC1's and would prefer not to make a mistake on choosing the wrong ones.
Any others that are better (in that simular price bracket)?
