Don't know if I understand correctly.
Don't your speaker cables have 1/4'' plugs?
The Tannoy has a hole for 1/4'' plugs in the middle of the XLR input.

Also, check the M-Audio monitors, which also have XLR or RCA and 1/4'' TRS inputs.
