Hey thanks. I usually use Rane Note 110, but I like the way they differentiate between pseudo-balanced, cross-coupled, and transformer balanced methods. Rane note 110 does this too, but this seems more clear for some reason. (Rane combines pseudo-balanced and cross coupled and uses notes to differentiate where Van den Hul just shows there separate methods.

I found the problem b.t.w. I was using a manual for a Q2031B, and the B uses TRS balanced. On the Q2031 (no Q) the 1/4" jacks are actually unbalanced! Nice!

Oh well. Just a bit more soldering to do now! :D
