Jitter

Look again for all that is reading... computer do not cause audio related jitter. They can't!!!!!! Now they can have an effect of adaptive and Firewire interfaces because the clock is derived from the stream and if the computer lags a bit it will change the clock speed and this will cause jitter.

BUT!!!!!!!!! remember this still happens at the device and not in the computer, not in the file, not even in the interface. But only when the parallel data is converted into serial data for the DAC chip or filter.

Please remember this!

We focus too much on Jitter here being the end all of problems. There is much more to consider, please do so.
