My thinking is the same. It'd be nice, but....I'd have to pull new Cat 7 for at least a dozen drops and have to replace at least the router and several or more switches and that would only cover the main PCs and NASes.
My office would be nearly impossible to upgrade as it would require pulling the existing wires which was a bitch to get through the first time. It's got a 1" conduit stuffed full with three 10 gauge electrical wires, phone line, Cat 5 and cable coax. A 350 pounder buddy of mine broke an ax handle when we did it the first time. We feared we couldn't do it all but with more curse words that you'd you may have never heard, we got it done by the end of the day.
