I have an iPhone SE....the small old peoples phone and to be honest it does what I need. I actually like the smaller form factor.
And then last week my wife's kid was involved in a horrible accident. The details are still very sketchy but the emergency services folks said that the 911 call came from an iPhone. It's doubtful that she could have made the call...it wasn't the driver. He died at the scene.
Turns out some of the newer iPhones can detect a sudden impact. They ask if you are ok, if you don't respond they call 911. One of those things you hope you never need, but way more important than an extra camera lens on the back of your phone.
Its the first thing to get me to upgrade in ages.
