I have a number subscription services if you count Netflix, AppleTV, Amazon Prime TV, Qobuz music streaming, online newspaper, maybe 5 or 6 print magazines (some include online access as well), and some software subscriptions. It adds up and you can lose track.
With print magazines I avoid their automatic credit card renewals. You initially get their new subscriber rate but they auto-renew at the then regular rate. I use old school paper checks for magazine subscriptions. When my subscription expires I have more control over renewing - or not. After letting my subscription expire I'll send them a check with a new subscriber card at the new subscriber rate. They never turn me down.
