...and how soon.It will be interesting to see if the Tidal SDK will have the tools necessary for LMS/pCP developers to un-break the LMS/pCP/Tidal connection.
I found this at https://developer.tidal.com/
I haven't read through the SDK or Source Code docs. Too much detail for my attention span given I have no vested interest.
As a side comment about companies in trouble open-sourcing their stuff, I saw this first hand at Silicon Graphics. GL was developed by SGI back in the 1990's. Before SGI went belly up they open-sourced GL as OpenGL which was instrumental in launching so many graphics intensive games, graphics cards, and game consoles over the decades. Similarly when when Sun Microsystems was in trouble they open-sourced the Solaris OS and called it Open Solaris. Oracle acquired Sun and no longer contributed to the development of Open Solaris. Same for Sun developed ZFS which became OpenZFS but Oracle stopped contributing as ZFS is a core technology in their RAID arrays. Similar for Java and OpenJDK. Oracle sells Java and has no interest in contributing to free OpenJDK.
