RE: What is the processing power to stream into DSD512

I would recommend up-sampling the same album to DSD512, DSD256, and DSD128. Then compare the sound. You might be able to save a lot of memory if you can enjoy up-sampled DSD256 or DSD128 just as much as up-sampled DSD512.

As for me, I prefer to listen to PCM without up-sampling to DSD. On the other hand, my favorite digital format is DSD256 when the original recording was made in DSD256, but I prefer to listen in PCM if the original recording was made in PCM.
