Who else prefers Wifi over Ethernet for sound quality?

I got around to doing careful comparison between Wifi vs Ethernet, and to my surprise, there is a pretty large difference sound quality, way more than expected.
TP-Link AX1800 WiFi 6 Extender has both wifi and ethernet, so compared wifi vs ethernet connection to my audio PC-->DAC.

wifi received via Netgear USB dongle.

To the point, Ethernet sounded much more "digital" with coarser pixels of sound, AKA grain. Wifi was much smoother, airier, and rounder, easily preferable to my ears.

Now I understand why some people spend $$$ on "audiophile" network switches, ethernet cable, etc.

I'm sure a lot of this is system-dependent, too, but if you have been using hardwired connection and wish for a bit less digital sound, do try Wifi.
