RE: 2021 - DACs that do not require USB tweaks ? A 22k DAC does need them...

So I'll try. There is no such thing as a digital signal in a wire. The USB cable carries an analog signal attempting to make perfect square waves, impossible because of limited bandwidth. Cables containing ordinary analog signals can change them and therefore sound different, which they do. So too the USB cables can be better or poorer carriers of the analog signal they carry and therefore will require more or less error correction at the other end. Excessive error correction will be heard as interference with the best SQ.

If you haven't heard differences in USB cables, either your equipment or ears is not up to the task.

Anyway this is another similar thread where the same OP's premise is still ridiculous and ill informed.
