In the end all these arguments we had over the years - bringing up and discussing the weak spots of computer a based audio - led us to where we are today.
Computer based audio - altogether - became ( more a less ) a commodity.
Meaning. No matter how much you invest, $100 or $3000, you can end up with an excellent audio solution.

Beside that, the generation which's been pushing the whole thing is a dying breed. They're running out of steam slowly but surely.
There's no new generation ( I see ) filling that exact void. (That's how it usually goes)
Todays generation IMO wants a phone, a bluetooth speaker/headset and a streaming provider. A traditional stereo is considered as something from the dark ages. IMO - Fair enough!
I do enjoy very much what has been achieved. And I'll do it for a couple of more years to come. ;)
