Interesting. I bought a Tascam 3000 that records to an SD card and recorded some to wav files at 96/24 with excellent results. I tried 192/24, but my DAC really didn't like that, drop outs. I figure that disk space is cheap, so I haven't bothered converting to flac. Anyway, I can put about 20 albums on one 32GB card and then put it into my PC, where I need to split tracks and add meta data.
Vinyl Studio is supposed to be able to do this nearly automatically. The trial wasn't able to do much, so I'll have to risk $30 to see if it really works.
Once I do get going on the several thousand albums, I want to record the best ones and then either sell the more valuable ones and give away the rest. When we moved to our current place, I lost my ability to store them, so they've been packed in the basement for too long.
I send you my address via email.
Thanks!
