What do you mean by "using a web player and that didn't provide any sound either" ? Are you talking about a Qobuz web based player that should have nothing whatsoever to do with Roon or Tidal?

What happens if you logout of Tidal, shut down Roon, totally exit anything to do with Tidal. Then try Qobuz. And if it's a web based player, some browsers disable audio. In some web browsers you can check for that in the webpage tab.

So I guess the fundamental question is, has Qobuz ever worked for you at all?
