I know and that's what is so baffling. In the case of Qobuz, I used the Qobuz server direct into the DAC but for the files from the NAS, the server was JRiver. As far as I could determine, the files from Qobuz and the NAS were the same but perhaps they differed in some way that was not apparent. I know that different media servers, like JRiver and Roon, do not sound exactly the same, at least not in my system.
