Finally. Congratulations.
I'm enjoying the Kali for quite a while. I'd fully agree with your findings.
1. Make sure that you have a separate PS on the Kali. I run mine with an iPower.
2. I use the Kali MasterClock as synchronous clock feed for my HAT DAC.
It's quite an improvement over e.g. the local async clocking scheme
for my Sabre HAT.
DACs like the Allo Piano2.1 ( which use the On-DAC PLL as master)
will also benefit from such a master-clock config.
