I've been a Roon subscriber for about 10 months - I like some of the library features, but other operational niggles I'm not so keen on, e.g. why can't they offer one touch playback or simple viewing of album covers from playlists?
I found Roon to offer better SQ when used in conjunction with HQPlayer, utilising the up sampling filters in HQP. But even so I've found A+ to be the more transparent sounding player (if not always the 'nicest' sounding).
IMO Roon should be the best at everything considering it's cost. That's just not the case for me, so I'm unlikely to renew my subscription.
