Didn't try to crack the case once I realized I'd have to figure out a way to put it back together securely.
We got cats!
Just clipped the cord at the case and soldered on the Canare Star Quad and covered my mess with shrink tubing.
OK, not ideal and NOT very pretty, but I'll not be posting posting picture and enduring the ridicule, so I guess that's OK.
First they came for the dumb-asses
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a dumb-ass
