The files that are downloaded to your device don't go "poof" after listening one time but my question would be, how long do they remain playable.
Some streaming services that offer offline listening capability give you a time window like 30-days before you need to "reconnect" to the service.
I don't know how Tidal handles this. I'd like to find out.
