I wanted to try to "roll my own" approach at least once to hear the results .vs Volumio, Moode, and Rune.
I have a Raspberry Pi 3 connected via ethernet to the internet and a computer with FLAC music files. My i2s DAC is the Mamboberry LS+
My preferred linux distro is Arch, but I would be willing to try others if they are easier.
A web interface would be best, but if that is not possible is simple enough I can use an MPD app on my phone which I have already successfully connected to the "premade" MPD apps.
