RE: Raspberry Pi Media Player Software Options

Volumio never worked for me, too many glitches, seems like a Pre-Alpha release.

Rune seems more stable but is frozen in time.

Moode is being more actively developed but has a quirky UI imo and no plans for any Internet radio support last time I looked.

PiCorePlayer is under active development and makes useful updates with small improvements and is rock solid.

DietPi is under heavy development and is pretty much the light weight King and a Swiss army knive/Jack of all. It might have very very small bugs but they get worked out quick.

Still lots more out there, some pro's and con's etc.
For shear ease of use and quick up time I'd go with PiCoreplayer.
