If things are working well for you, it probably isn't necessary. I updated my bios on my Asus a number of times and it did improve network performance among other things going from 8.1 to 10.
If you have Windows 10 Home, the update is automatic. Pro can be delayed, but I have installed it on my non-music computers and it was easy and uneventful.
