Or get a Bryston BDP-1, a $90 external HDD and a decent AES/EBU cable to connect to your DAC and be done with it. Use your computer for word-processing, storing iTunes and photos and for surfing the Internet -- what it was intended for. Until, of course, it is infected with a virous or worm or crashes.
