I never said my DAC (or any DAC, for that matter) is perfect, but we'll probably see one eventually. It seems like this shouldn't be difficult a difficult task; after all, other hardware manufacturers have managed to create products that deal with incoming jitter in the data despite their hardware being MUCH more sensitive to timing than some audio device (e.g. hard drives, which have to reliably record data, in specific extremely small locations on disks that are spinning at up to 15,000 RPM, despite the fact that the data is being sent to them at speeds much higher than will ever be required for audio playback).
