"Okay, tell yourself whatever you want to... every audiophile/phoole knows you get what you pay for".
Actually I believe you. People don't like to get their vintage CDPs smoked by a computer with a $200 sound card. Or worse, a $125 soundcard.
Thing is, there is "DIY denial" on one end of the spectrum and "my $200K cable must be better than you $150K cable" on the other.
I think we're (as a group) in the middle, closer to the DIY/practical side. Well, some of us are anyways. Can't speak for anyone paying $2000 for a USB cable. ;)
