So here is the philosophical paradox that all this seems to boil down to:A) A computer that is still a swiss army knife breaks the audiophile credo.
B) Paying for a swiss army knife and using one blade is a waste of money.
In audiophile land, this is not a paradox, as A should trump B according to the very definition of an audiophile where value is trumped by (perceived) performance.
We're not in this for economy if we're following real audiophile philsophy. Or dogma. Call it what you want! ;)
Edit: Nor are we in this for conveniece, where two specialized computers is not only more money but less convenient than a single box, especially for 'audiophile multitaskers'.
