Business is going quite well for Audio Note these days.
I'm sure he believes what he says. His dacs are the best I have heard, but I have not been able to hear any of the higher priced Wavelength Dacs.
I like my little Proton a lot. I use it as a portable element direct with headphones and as part of the digital source for a bed-side headphone amp system, but I wouldn't dream of putting it up against my meagre AN CD4.1x in my main system since it is an entry level USB Dac.
