The sound enhancer is in Itunes: preferences: playback, then just make sure it is unchecked. As for the EQ, go to View: show EQ, there should be a box labeled on which can be checked and unchecked. Might want to check to make sure you have the latest version as well, but hope this helps. We all started somewhere so don't feel too bad.
