800mb is good for ripped CDs. Foobar 'file buffer size' only works when playing individual wav files (up to size specified). There is a pause for a few seconds and playback starts from RAM. Check task manager to see RAM allocated to foobar. Problem is when playing from single or multiple wav file CUE sheets - in this case foobar does no buffering. Hopefully this would be fixed in future release.
