Two 500GB internal drives.Or maybe you're using a laptop for music, so it must be external drives.
But if you have a home network you could easily locate a file server anywhere in your home. If you don't have the wiring, a wireless network should work just as well for audio applications. In a file server it won't matter if you have one drive or ten.
If all that's too much to deal with, just get the 750GB drives.
