USB Dac or Belcanto eOneS300iu?

My current 2ch. system consists of a G4 Mac Mini with a matching external 400 GB HD as source. Music CDs are ripped using iTunes AIFF settings. Digital output from Mini's USB port connects to a Waveterminal U24, converted to Coax or Toshlink and then feeds a Lite DAC-AH NOS dac. Amplification is solid state (Rotel RC03 + 2 bridged RB03 monos) and speakers are JBL 880s. I listen mostly to Rock and blues. Though satisfied from current setup, i want to move into a simplier signal path solution. I think my options are:
1. A USB dac (Aqvox, Stello etc) or even the DIY DDDAC with I2S USB interface. (G4 Mac Mini provides digital audio output only through USB and Intel Mini's fans are too loud ! )
2. The new ICE based BelCanto integrated with USB input.
I have no clue in USB implementation in BelCanto eOneS300iu.

Can u pls advice / share yr experience?
Thanks.
